As a Market Access Executive in AstraZeneca, you will be supporting Head of Market Access in developing strategies and value propositions to achieve, maintain and expand access of AZ brands to patients. The role will include exposure to work closely with cross-functional internal & engage external stakeholders in developing and executing affordability & accessibility patient programs to improve access of AZ brands in accordance with local compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Market access strategy for key brands
Work with government & commercial functions on a regular basis to capture latest update on industry and healthcare development.
Leverage understanding of healthcare environment and work with medical/commercial functions to develop business plans that take full account of and respond to the needs of policy and budget holders,
creating a positive platform for AstraZeneca and its brands.
Develop and implement market access strategy plans and actions to increase patient access.
Lead in cross-functional discussion for product Formulary Listing.
Stakeholder mapping (e.g. government, hospital, HCO, KEE) with appropriate engagement plan to achieve strategic goals
Make appropriate interactions with independent review bodies, government stakeholders, budget holders to support economic and policy decision making for AZ products and indications
Work with government & commercial functions on a regular basis to capture competitor intelligence, discuss tactics and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Affordability and accessibility patient programs for prioritized brands
Work cross-functionally to develop, tract and maintain affordability programs for key brand.
Work with Brand Leads and medical team to develop innovative patient adherence and compliance model. Documents
Provide input on “right” product pricing in order to gain accelerated
Provide an overview of pricing in the government sector (internal pricing database in collaboration with marketing & sales
Establish a long term partnership with decision making unit (DMU) and key influencers (KI), including medical social workers & HCOs
Key Account Management for Key Accounts
Implement and be accountable for the operational KA plans which leverage product proposition and strategies to generate revenue and drive growth for both short and long term in the national key account (KA).
Facilitate rapid market access by establishing a long term partnership with decision making unit (DMU) and key influencers (KI) in the KAs example hospital listing, patient quota and funding.
Engage closely with the cross-functional teams to identify synergies across the internal functions with the external stakeholder.
Partner with medical and marketing to leverage relevant medical lead scientific leadership programmes for the KAs.
Quarterly review of the institutional business, and propose strategies, tactics to work closely with external stakeholders to drive Scientific knowledge, patient centric and payer activities,
Strong key stakeholder mapping and ability to develop a long term working relationship plan.
Bachelor degree in any field, preferably life science-related
Minimum 3-5 years of successful track record in sales and/or marketing
Good understanding of the latest development in the National Healthcare System and its impact on the Pharmaceutical Industry
English & BM proficiency.
Interpersonal, analytical, negotiation skills and computer literate.
Good communicator and strong project manager who can work effectively under pressure.
Prior industry and/or Market Access experience is desirable
